A stunning lenticular print of the famed 'For The Love Of God' diamond encrusted skull created by Damien Hirst. This lenticular print on PETG board has a glittering, lively effect as the skull 'moves' in respect to the viewers position. A mystical piece, created in 2012 is a part of the edition of 5,000 and is signed by the Artist in white on the lower front corner. The artwork depicts the famed 18th century platinum cast human skull with 8,601 flawless diamonds encrusted in the sculpture. The artwork is a memento mori, or reminder of the mortality of the viewer. Art historian Rudi Fuchs described the original Damien Hirst work as "out of this world, celestial almost. It proclaims victory over decay. At the same time it represents death as something infinitely more relentless. Compared to the tearful sadness of a vanitas scene, the diamond skull is glory itself".
