Collection: Georgia E Morgan
Impressionistic artist Georgia Morgan, paints in an explosion of textures, marks and patterns to react our visual senses. Working out of a little barn-studio in North Devon, Georgia can hear the roar of waves and takes frequent trips to the sea to sketch.
Her two interests are evidently defiant to one process.
She uses a combination of materials - spray paint, oil paint, glazes and inks, on canvas and transparent acrylic surfaces. The translucent acrylic, allows light to filter through, brightening the colours and adding another element to her work.
Georgia allows herself to get absorbed in the creative process and lost in layers of techniques such as stencilling, painting and printing.
Georgia’s works focus on movement, sound and impressionism - the surrounding textures, ambience and abstracting the elements to create multi-sensory artwork.
