Was there a definitive point in your life you remember making the decision you wanted to be an artist?
A
No. Although I have often decided not to be an artist. But that never lasts long.

Who has inspired you?
A
Everyone inspires me, for good or bad.

Do you have a favourite colour?
A
Not one...at the moment I am most interested in trying to recreate the blue of lapis lazuli as used in religious depictions of Mary. And also in GOLD!

What’s your opinion on modern art?
A
The more the merrier.

Is there an area of art you haven’t explored but would like to?
A
I'd like to be able to animate my prints, paintings and drawings....but without the years of painstaking effort that I know is required.

If you could own one painting from any artist what would it be?
A
Anything by Paula Rego, but especially one of her Red Monkey paintings.

A
I'm not sure, but I'm sure she'll let me know at some point.
